Made an appointment with Mark. When I arrived he was on the phone. He never greeted me. He never got off the phone the whole i was there. I wandered around the dealership. My van needed a part to fix a problem with the dome light, dealership ordered part, when part come in, that information wasnt relayed to service dept (kelly) but instead part was given to mechanic, of course he dont call customers to inform of coming in, but over 2 weks later i call parts dept and they tell me its there, so again no call to schedule, so i show up to get work done, and to my disappointment, mechanic says he cant install it that day, why would their not be a list of customers that have parts come in ... I've purchased two vehicles from McDonald Chevrolet never had a problem really was happy with my purchases and services until my recent visit. I purchased four duratrac tires and had them installed and they put a dent in one of my rims which they told me about and replaced it but I had constant vibrations and took it back and they balanced them again and said they made a minor adjustment and drive it and let them know. Took my truck to McDonald's Chevy after I hit a gallon of paint that fell out of a truck in front of me. After having my truck a week I was told I could probably have my truck back on Friday (9/11/21). No truck on Friday, or Monday, or Tuesday or Wednesday, and on Thursday I told them I was coming to get my truck. Multiple options and multiple late nights meant Bob had his work cut out for him, but he hit a home run with our new vehicle. Customer service is too notch. Looking for a Silverado Crew Cab that met my personal needs was easily satisfied when Bob searched for a vehicle available in the area. A test drive in a similar vehicle in their inventory basically closed the deal after he located the requested vehicle I had asked for. Recently met with Bob to discuss a 2012 vehicle with less than 10,000 miles he had in the used car showroom. I raised several points about age and storage implications as they relate to fluids, oil, battery and tire safety. His response was that he’d speak with the service manager and get back with me.
